COVID 19 Proof of Vaccination

On September 3rd the Provincial government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced starting September 22, 2021 they will require people to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with valid ID to access certain public settings and facilities including yoga studios. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

As Provincially mandated when arriving to their scheduled class students will be required to show approved proof of vaccination in digital or paper form (2 doses plus 14 days) along with valid ID. For Ontario proof of vaccination can be your origianl vaccination receipt or the new enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code showing all personal information. We will NOT be scanning the QR code.

If students cannot produce proof of vaccination for the class in question or information does not match they will not be permitted to take the class until they are able to do so. If an individual cannot be vaccinated due to permitted exemptions (medical and other protected grounds under the Ontario Human Rights Code) they should email marketing@yogashack.ca. We are awaiting more information on the rollout of the Provinces vaccine passport app which is anticipated sometime in October.

For now proof of vaccination will be required for every class you attend and we ask that you arrive with enough time to allow for this new process and get to your mat. Starting September 22nd doors will be unlocked 20 minutes prior to the start of class and locked 5 minutes prior.

We ask everyone to be patient with teachers and fellow students as we work though this Provincially mandated requirement. As things evolve processes may be updated and changed.
